External Re-coating on Storage Tanks | Special Tanks | Floating Roofs | Spot Repair of Failed Coatings | Tank Interior Coatings | Fiberglass Liner Removal
The JetTracTM System provides an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to abrasive blasting that is ideal for tank cleaning. By combining the benefits of automated 40,000 PSI waterjetting with our experience in surface preparation and re-coating techniques we can significantly reduce the containment and disposal costs associated with maintenance re-coating projects. The JetTracTM System provides 100% containment at the nozzle collecting all paint debris and effluent water leaving the surface clean and ready for re-coating without the need for vertical containment. The winch systems provided with the JetTracTM System allows the remote positioning of the crawler and eliminates the need for access scaffolding. No abrasives are used with the JetTracTM System so disposal costs are reduced to the paint solids removed from the tank and the effluent water can be filtered and disposed of in most waste disposal systems. By reducing or eliminating scaffolding, containment, and disposal costs while providing a cleaner surface for re-coating, UHP Projects, Inc. can reduce your tank maintenance costs while extending their service life. Internal Tank Liner Removal
The JetTracTM System can also incorporate several options that make it an excellent choice for removing fiberglass and epoxy liners from tank internals. These liners have proven difficult and time consuming for abrasive blasting techniques, but high velocity waterjets easily remove these liners. The powerful vacuum system removes the debris to an external vacuum tank that UHP Projects, Inc. incorporates into the vacuum system. The liner debris is collected in this tank until the end of the project when it is then brought to a disposal site where you only pay for the disposal of the liner and not tons of used abrasives. The JetTracTM crawler can also be converted into a pneumatic drive format to eliminate electrical components inside the tank if there is a safety concern. Quick turnaround times and reduced disposal costs allow the tank to be prepared for relining while reducing maintenance costs.
UHP Projects, Inc. is the only contractor currently offering pneumatic drives for tank interior projects!
