Recognized as the industry leading experts on Marine non skid, hull surface preparations and coating application. Innovative as a world class water jetting operation and equally as competent in solid abrasive blasting, UHP Projects can handle standard and unique surface preparations and coating applications.

Military and Merchant Ships
Exterior and Interior Decks | Superstructures | Hatch Covers and Coamings | Ballast Tanks | Bilges | Deck Equipment | Flight Deck Non-Skid | Exterior Passageways | Double Bottom Tanks
Our experience with the above applications has proven that UHP water jetting causes less interference with other trades, no airborne dust and pollution, reduced wrap up and cleanup times, and cleaner substrates for better coating adhesion. Spot blasting is also easier and more efficient with UHP water jetting.

Non-Skid Surfaces
UHP Projects has developed some proprietary deck cleaning systems for use on flight decks, weather decks, etc. These tools provide high production rates and 100% containment at the nozzle.
We have also designed and patented tools for cleaning deck tiedowns and attachments. UHP Projects utilizes both the FLOW HydroCat system as well as many vacuum assisted tools that we design under the trademarked name of the JetTractm System. This system allows great flexibility and the use of multiple vacuum tools from a single vacuum source. Because multiple tools can be used the equipment required at the jobsite is greatly reduced while production rates are greatly increased. The system also allows for flexibility in which type of tools can be used.
UHP Projects has also designed and uses several types of handheld vacuum assisted tools that allow the operator to get into tight areas that the automated systems cannot access.
UHP Projects also uses a hand-held Jetlance that can be used to clean areas that are inaccessible to vacuum assisted tools. The nozzle on this tool rotates at 5,000 RPM with very little reactive thrust, allowing the operator to safely maneuver the tool in tight areas. This reduced reactive thrust (approx. 5-20 lbs.) greatly increases the safety of the employee when working on elevated structures or in confined spaces.
VACUUM RECOVERY
Effluent water and solids are removed from the automated equipment by a powerful vacuum system designed by UHP Projects. This equipment is trailer mounted and remains on the pier to minimize interferences with shipboard activity. We have designed this vacuum system to allow the use of multiple automated systems from one vacuum source.
WATER CONTAINMENT AND RECLAMATION
UHP Projects, Inc. has developed a proven filtration system that is able to remove residue from the blast water. The effluent water can be captured, filtered and recirculated or disposed of as necessary. This allows the water to be disposed of as non-hazardous waste, greatly reducing the disposal costs. The effluent water will go through a bag filtering system to provide course separation of the liquid and solids. The water will then be held in a holding tank until needed for filtration. It will then be pumped through a HydroCarbon separation filter and then be processed into the Reverse Osmosis system for final cleaning. The effluent water will be pumped to a clean water holding tank until needed for recirculation to the jetting equipment. Solids will be drummed for disposal.
